Girls in Scotland who have left school and were under 19 years of age on 1 September 2009 are being invited to receive the HPV vaccine to help protect against cervical cancer.
If this applies to you, and you are no longer at school or have missed any of your appointments, you will be contacted by your local health board to arrange an appointment for having the immunisation, or to complete the three doses required for the best protection.
