Girls in Scotland who have left school and will be under 19 years of age on 1 September 2009 are being invited to receive the HPV vaccine to help protect against cervical cancer.
Girls and/or their parents who would like information on the immunisation programme in the Western Isles should contact Sheila Macleod (Programme Administrator) or a Public Health Nurse on 01851 703545 in Lewis and Harris, and the Public Health Nurse in Uists and Barra on 01870 602266.
