Frequently asked questions (FAQs)

I am eligible for the HPV immunisation and I am also in a ‘priority group’ for the Swine flu jab. Can I have both?

I am eligible for the HPV immunisation and I am also in a ‘priority group’ for the Swine flu jab. Can I have both? Yes, you can have both. As with the seasonal flu jab, it will be possible to have the HPV and Swine flu vaccines at the same time. If so, it is preferable for each vaccine to be given in a different arm. If you are part of the schools programme for HPV immunisation, you will be given your HPV jab by your nurse. You will need to attend your GP or local clinic for your Swine flu jab when you are contacted for this.
